    Sessions typically last 50 minutes, though the length may vary depending on your needs and the agreed-upon treatment plan.

    Find a quiet, private space that you feel comfortable in, and test your internet connection. Ensure all paperwork has been filled out and returned to Elaine prior to your first session.
  • What can I expect during my first Telehealth session?
    During your first online therapy session, you can expect a relaxed and supportive environment where you'll have the chance to share what brought you to therapy. Your therapist will likely ask some questions to understand your background, your current challenges, and your goals for therapy. It’s a time to get to know each other, discuss any concerns you may have, and set the tone for your therapeutic journey. You don’t need to have all the answers; this session is about starting to explore how therapy can support your well-being, all from the comfort of your own space.

    You will need a device with a camera and microphone, such as a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and a reliable internet connection.
  • What platform do you use for Telehealth sessions?
    We use the platform Power Diary for our telehealth sessions, which is secure and HIPAA-compliant.
  • How do I access the Telehealth platform?
    Prior to your session, you will receive a link via email. Simply click on the link at your scheduled time to join the session. You will be given a link that is unique to you for the duration of your therapy. No login or password details are needed.
  • Is Telehealth secure and confidential?
    Yes, we use a HIPAA-compliant platform to ensure your sessions are private and secure. Your confidentiality is of utmost importance to us.
  • Will my sessions be recorded?
    No, sessions are not recorded without your explicit consent and prior discussion.
  • How do I pay for my Telehealth sessions?
    Payments are due in full 24 hours prior to the appointment date. Payments can be made via direct debit.
  • Do you accept insurance for Telehealth services?
    Currently, we do not accept insurance.
  • What is the cancellation policy for Telehealth appointments?
    We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a cancellation fee. Please check our cancellation policy for more details.

    Telehealth can address a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, trauma, and more.

    If you experience technical issues, try restarting your device and checking your internet connection. If problems persist, the remaining time in session can be taken over telephone.
  • What should I do in case of an emergency?

  • Can children participate in Telehealth sessions?
    Yes, children can participate with parental consent. Sessions involving minors will be conducted with the appropriate consent and involvement of a parent or guardian as needed.
